What TypePaste does not collect
- No user account information
- No remote profile or usage history
- No analytics or advertising identifiers
- No clipboard database stored on our servers
- No tracking across apps, websites, or services
Clipboard text
TypePaste reads clipboard text when you explicitly choose Prepare Text, use its preparation shortcut, or click Import Clipboard. You can also enter text directly. The text can be reviewed and edited before you choose a destination. Each operation sends a fixed snapshot and does not reread or poll the clipboard.
Prepared text stays in memory and is not saved as a clipboard history. Closing the preparation window or choosing Clear removes the editor contents. TypePaste does not transmit text to S.C. Technolot Systems S.R.L. A destination app or remote session you choose may transmit or store the text according to its own behavior.
Local settings
TypePaste stores its typing delay preference locally on-device. Launch at login is registered with macOS only when you explicitly enable it.
macOS permissions
TypePaste may request the following permissions:
- Typing control (PostEvent), exposed under Accessibility or Device Control and Data Access depending on macOS, to send keyboard events to the process you select
Typing permission is requested only when you click Allow Typing. TypePaste does not request Input Monitoring, install keyboard event monitors, or inspect accessibility elements in other apps. Mouse event monitors run only during destination selection and typing, and are removed when the operation ends.
Data sharing
The current version of TypePaste does not sell personal data and does not share clipboard contents with third parties as part of its normal operation.
Website cookies
The website uses essential cookies for consent state and security continuity. Optional analytics and marketing categories are disabled by default and can be managed from Cookie settings.
Changes
If the privacy behavior of TypePaste changes in a future release, this policy will be updated before that release is published.
