What TypePaste does not collect
- No user account information
- No remote profile or usage history
- No analytics or advertising identifiers
- No clipboard database stored on our servers
- No tracking across apps, websites, or services
Clipboard text
TypePaste reads clipboard text locally on the Mac only for its user-initiated workflow: the user copies text, arms the app, clicks a destination field, and TypePaste types the current clipboard text into that destination.
The current version does not intentionally transmit clipboard contents to S.C. Technolot Systems S.R.L. or to third parties.
Local settings
TypePaste stores a limited set of local preferences on-device so the app can function properly. Examples include typing delay, launch at login preference, and whether to show the permissions guide on launch.
macOS permissions
TypePaste may request the following permissions:
- Input Monitoring, to detect the next click after the app is armed
- Accessibility, to send keyboard events to the destination selected by the user
These permissions are used only for the core click-to-type workflow.
Data sharing
The current version of TypePaste does not sell personal data and does not share clipboard contents with third parties as part of its normal operation.
Website cookies
The website uses essential cookies for consent state and security continuity. Optional analytics and marketing categories are disabled by default and can be managed from Cookie settings.
Changes
If the privacy behavior of TypePaste changes in a future release, this policy will be updated before that release is published.
